We are a new dating app! And we are serious: Our goal is to create romantic partnerships!
prtnr.me ist our approach, to create a contrast to the more "fun-oriented" dating platforms à la Tinder. By utilizing applied knowledge from Psychology and Attachment Theory we will find you the right partner! We hereby declare war with the mindless swiping!
Why?
Swiping alone just doesn't work. It's not sustainable – that's what psychology tells us (and our own experience, too).
People have different needs when it comes to intimacy. Some are more anxious than others. And not every combination is a good one or a promising one (if, as is the case with us, the goal is to meet a partner).
Psychological attachment theory teaches us that not everyone is a good match. We've taken this insight into account and created an app that takes this into account. Using its own algorithm, it tries to suggest the most suitable profiles for you. This is intended to prevent frustration like "he needs much less closeness than I do, but I only found that out later," and thus, in the long run, make the online dating experience more attractive again (than it may have become over the years due to the perceived "superficiality" that has crept in).
